Breathizen Editorial Standards: How We Source, Check and Correct

Quick answer

Every Breathizen page starts from the bottle label and the sales page, then checks each health point against government, medical and peer-reviewed sources. We attribute every brand claim, never advise changing a medicine, and never publish unverified reviews. The medical reviewer's name, credentials, role and review date stay as yellow highlighted fields until a qualified reviewer signs off.

Our approach

How are Breathizen pages written?

The Breathizen editorial team writes each page from three things: the brand's pack shots, the sales page and public health sources we link to. If a fact is not in one of those, it does not go on the page.

We are an authorized shop, not a lab or a clinic. So we report what the label says, what it leaves out and what independent research shows about each ingredient. When the evidence is thin, we say it is thin. When a number is not published, we write "not published" rather than guess.

  • Plain US English, short sentences, a grade 7-8 reading level.
  • Every health statement links to its source.
  • Prices come only from the checkout, with the date we read them.
  • Honest weak spots stay on the page, even when they cost us sales.

Sources

Which sources do we trust most?

Government and medical references come first. Brand marketing comes last and is always labeled as the brand's own words.

Source types used on Breathizen pages, from most to least weight
RankSource typeExamples we citeHow we use it
1U.S. government and regulatorsFDA, FTC, NIH, NCCIH, CDC, MedlinePlus, EPARules, safety and when to see a doctor
2Medical and herbal monographsMemorial Sloan Kettering, European Medicines Agency, natural medicine databasesIngredient evidence, cautions and interactions
3Peer-reviewed researchSystematic reviews and trials on PubMed or journal sitesWhat was studied, in whom, at what dose
4Health charitiesAmerican Lung AssociationWarning signs and patient guidance
5The product itselfPack shots and front labelWhat the bottle says
6Brand marketingThe sales page and its FAQDirections, prices and claims, always attributed

We do not use anonymous forums, press releases or "scam check" pages as sources for facts. See how we treat them on the reviews page.

Checking a supplement

How to tell if a supplement is legit: the tests we apply

We ask five questions of every product claim, Breathizen included. A supplement that passes all five is easier to trust; one that fails several deserves caution.

  1. Is the seller reachable? A phone line that can see orders, and a written refund route.
  2. Is the label complete? A Supplement Facts panel with every amount.
  3. Is outside testing named? A lab or certifier you can look up.
  4. Do the claims match the evidence? Human studies, not only lab or animal work.
  5. Are reviews checkable? Real buyers, matched to real orders.

Breathizen passes the first question clearly. It falls short on the next four, which is why our testing page and label page spell out what is missing.

Breathing topics

How do we handle breathing and medicine topics?

With extra care, because a wrong answer about breathing can hurt someone. Asthma, COPD and chest symptoms are health topics where advice must be safe first and persuasive last.

A rule with no exceptions

We never advise anyone to stop, skip, lower or replace a prescribed medicine, inhaler or treatment plan. Controller medicines for asthma need daily use to keep working, including days when breathing feels fine (MedlinePlus, Asthma control drugs).

  • Every page that mentions symptoms links to when to call 911 or see a provider (MedlinePlus, Breathing difficulty).
  • No disease claims: Breathizen is a dietary supplement, not a treatment for any condition.
  • Cautions for pregnancy, blood thinners and allergies sit next to the ingredients they concern.
  • We never write "clinically proven" or "doctor recommended" about a product with no trial and no named doctor.

Attribution

How do we attribute claims about Breathizen?

Every claim is tied to who made it. If the sales page says something, the sentence says "the sales page says". If a study found something, the sentence names the study and links it.

How a brand claim is written on Breathizen pages, with examples
Claim sourceHow we write it
Front labelThe front label reads "Supports Clear Breathing".
Sales pageThe sales page sells each bottle as a 30-day supply.
StudySmall trials tested bromelain as an add-on in sinusitis, with a linked source.
Our viewClearly marked as editorial, as in our pros and cons.

Stronger sales claims, such as easing airway swelling or loosening mucus, are not repeated as fact. We say the evidence does not support them and link to the ingredient evidence.

Reviews

Why don't we publish unverified Breathizen reviews?

Because a review we cannot match to an order could be fake, and fake reviews mislead buyers. The FTC's 2024 rule bans fake and AI-generated reviews and testimonials, and allows civil penalties (FTC, Fake reviews rule).

So the rating summary and every review card show as yellow highlighted blanks. Names, cities, ages, dates, packs, star ratings and quotes fill in only after the order desk confirms a real purchase and the buyer agrees in writing. Sample reviews and scores from the brand's sales kit are never used.

Medical review

Who medically reviews Breathizen pages?

Nobody has signed off yet. Until a qualified reviewer does, four fields stay highlighted in yellow at the bottom of every page.

Fill-in field

Reviewer name

The full name of the person who checked the page. Shown highlighted until a named reviewer signs off.

Fill-in field

Credentials

Degree and license, such as a medical or pharmacy qualification, confirmed before it is shown.

Fill-in field

Role

What the reviewer checked: medical accuracy, safety cautions and medicine warnings.

Fill-in field

Review date

The day the reviewer approved the page. A new date appears after each re-review.

We will not print a name until that person has actually reviewed the pages. A name in a brief is not a review. When the fields fill in, the yellow highlight disappears and the reviewer's profile appears on the about page.

Corrections

How do we correct mistakes?

Fast, and in the open. Email [email protected] with the page and the error. The inbox is staffed Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm ET.

  1. We check the claim

Against the label, the sales page or the linked source.

  2. We fix the page

The wrong text is replaced, and the "last updated" date moves forward.

  3. We fix it everywhere

Shared facts live in one file, so a correction reaches every page at once.

Order problems need the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480, since our inbox has no access to orders.

Money and updates

How do we make money, and how often are pages updated?

We earn money when you buy Breathizen through our order links. That is our only income from the product, and it never changes what a page says about evidence or safety.

Breathizendaily is the American Breathizen authorized shop, not the manufacturer. Order buttons are marked as sponsored links.

Update schedule

  • Prices: checked against checkout whenever we update; last read October 11, 2026.
  • Label and ingredients: rechecked whenever the brand changes its pack shots or sales page.
  • Health sources: reviewed at least once a year, sooner if guidance changes.
  • Reviews: added only as orders are matched.

FAQ

Breathizen editorial standards FAQ

How to tell if a supplement is legit?

Check five things: a seller you can reach, a complete Supplement Facts panel, named outside testing, claims that match human research and reviews tied to real orders. A product that fails several of these is not proven fake, but it asks you to take more on trust.

How do you source health claims about Breathizen?

Each health statement links to a government agency, a medical or herbal monograph, or a peer-reviewed study. Brand claims are labeled as the sales page's words. If we cannot find a reliable source for a claim, we leave it out or say the evidence is lacking.

Why do you link to sources that say mullein is unproven?

Because that is what the evidence shows. Reliable monographs rate mullein's breathing uses as traditional or insufficient. Hiding that to sell more bottles would break our own rules and mislead readers who may be dealing with real breathing problems.

Who is the medical reviewer for Breathizen pages?

Not named yet. The reviewer's name, credentials, role and review date show as yellow highlighted fields at the bottom of every page until a qualified person reviews the content and signs off. We do not print a name before a review happens.

Is Breathizendaily paid by the brand?

We earn money when you buy through our order links, as the American Breathizen authorized shop, and we do not make Breathizen. That income does not buy favorable wording: weak spots like the missing amounts stay on every relevant page.

How do I report an error on a Breathizen page?

Email [email protected], Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm ET, with the page link and what looks wrong. We check it against the label or source, fix it and move the update date forward.

Will you ever tell me to change my asthma medicine?

No, never. Decisions about inhalers, controller medicines or any prescription belong to you and your clinician. Our pages may explain why a supplement is not a substitute, but they never suggest stopping, skipping or lowering a medicine.
