How to Use Breathizen Oral Spray, Step by Step
Shake the bottle well, then spray 4 pumps (0.60 mL) into your mouth or onto your tongue once a day. The sales page suggests the morning, preferably before your first meal. Spray it into the mouth, never the nose. If you miss a day, do not double up. Keep any inhaler or prescribed medicine on its usual schedule.

Directions
How do you take Breathizen? The six steps
Shake the bottle
Shake well before each use, every time, as the sales page asks.
Check your cap
The sales page describes a spray pump. Some pack shots show a dropper cap. Use the cap on the bottle you receive and follow its label.
Spray 4 pumps into your mouth
Aim into the mouth or onto the tongue: 4 pumps, which the sales page lists as 0.60 mL. Never spray it into your nose.
Take it in the morning
Once a day, ideally before your first meal. Pick a fixed cue, such as right after brushing your teeth.
Keep your medicines first
Inhalers and controller medicines stay on the schedule your doctor set. Breathizen goes on top, never in their place.
Track how you feel
Jot a one-line note each week about stairs, walks and stuffiness. Decide inside the 60-day window.
| Before each use | Shake well |
|---|---|
| Dose | 4 pumps (0.60 mL) |
| Where | Into the mouth or onto the tongue |
| How often | Once daily |
| Best time | Morning, preferably before the first meal |
| Supply | Each bottle is sold as a 30-day supply |
| Who should ask a doctor first | Pregnant or nursing, under 18, or anyone with a medical condition or on medicine |
Your day
What time of day should you take Breathizen?
The morning works best, before breakfast, because that is what the sales page suggests. A fixed time also makes it easier to remember.
- Morning, before the first meal
Shake, then 4 pumps into the mouth or onto the tongue. The sales page suggests this time.
- Keep your medicines
Inhalers and controller medicines stay on the schedule your doctor set. Breathizen is not a substitute.
- Move and check the air
A walk is a simple way to notice breathing. On orange or red air quality days, keep it indoors.
- Night
Breathlessness that wakes you at night is a reason to see a doctor, not to add a supplement.
Timing comes from the sales page. Medicines (MedlinePlus, Asthma control drugs); air quality (AirNow, AQI basics); when to get care (MedlinePlus, Breathing difficulty).
No study shows that morning use works better than evening use. The timing is the seller's advice, so follow it for consistency rather than for a proven effect.
Your bottle
Spray or dropper: which cap will your bottle have?

The sales page calls Breathizen an oral spray and gives the dose in pumps. Yet the brand's pack shots show a black dropper-style cap. Both images come from the seller, so the cap on your bottle may differ.
If your bottle has a spray pump, use 4 pumps. If it arrives with a dropper, read the label on that bottle for its own measure, and call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 if the directions are unclear. Do not guess a dose.
Mouth only
Can you spray Breathizen into your nose?
No. Breathizen is an oral spray, meant for the mouth or the tongue only. It is not a nasal spray, and the sales page never says to use it in the nose.
The liquid contains ginger and lemon, which can sting delicate tissue. Nasal sprays are made and tested for the nose. Products with similar names, such as nasal sprays called Breathe Zen, are different products from different companies.
If you want a rinse for a stuffy nose, plain saline is the usual choice. Our breathing comfort guide covers how saline fits in.
Missed a day
What if you forget a dose of Breathizen?
Just skip it and take your normal 4 pumps the next morning. Never double up to catch up.
The sales page gives no missed-dose rule. If you remember later the same morning, taking it then is reasonable. Late in the day, let it go.
- Keep the bottle next to your toothbrush or coffee maker.
- Set a daily phone reminder for your usual time.
- Mark each dose on a calendar so the 30-day count is clear.

Order nowWith an inhaler
How do you use Breathizen alongside an inhaler?
Your inhaler comes first and stays on schedule. Breathizen is an extra step, never a stand-in for it.
Asthma controller medicines work only when taken every day, even on good days (MedlinePlus, Asthma control drugs). Your written action plan says what to take and when to get help (NHLBI, Asthma treatment). Do not change either one because you started a supplement.
Take your prescribed dose first
Use your controller inhaler the way your doctor showed you.
Rinse if your plan says so
Some steroid inhalers call for a mouth rinse. Ask your pharmacist when Breathizen fits after that.
Then the spray
Shake, 4 pumps into the mouth, and move on with your day.
Ask your doctor before the first dose if you use any breathing medicine. More detail is in supplements and asthma medicines.
Storage and travel
How should you store and travel with Breathizen?
Store it the way the label on your bottle says. In general, a liquid supplement keeps best with the cap closed, away from heat and direct sun, and out of reach of children.
We have not seen a storage line on the label, so check your bottle. Do not keep it in a hot car or a steamy bathroom.
For travel, pack the bottle in a sealed plastic bag in case the pump leaks. The front label lists 2 oz / 60 ml. Check current airline rules for liquids before you fly, and bring enough for the trip so your routine does not break.
Avoid these
What should you not do with Breathizen?
Do not take extra pumps
More than 4 pumps a day is not on the directions, and no amounts are published to judge it.
Do not cut back an inhaler
Never stop or lower a prescribed breathing medicine because of a supplement.
Do not spray it up your nose
It is made for the mouth. Use saline for nasal rinses.
Do not share the bottle
A mouth spray carries germs from one user to the next.
Do not ignore real symptoms
Breathlessness at rest, at night or with chest pain needs a doctor (MedlinePlus, Breathing difficulty).
Track it
How long should you use Breathizen before you judge it?
Give it at least 30 days, the minimum the sales page sets for the guarantee, and decide before day 60. Keep a short weekly note so the call is based on facts, not memory. See the results timeline for what is realistic.
FAQ
How to use Breathizen: your questions
How many pumps of Breathizen should I take?
Take 4 pumps once a day, which the sales page lists as 0.60 mL. Shake the bottle well first, then spray into your mouth or onto your tongue. Do not add extra pumps. If your bottle has a dropper cap instead, follow the measure printed on that bottle.
Should I take Breathizen in the morning or at night?
Take it in the morning. The sales page suggests the morning, preferably before your first meal. No study shows that one time of day works better, so the main goal is to pick one time and keep to it every day.
Is mullein safe to take every day?
Daily, long-term use of mullein has not been studied well, and no standard dose exists (RxList, Mullein). Europe's traditional-use guidance for mullein flower says to see a doctor if symptoms last more than a week (EMA, Mullein flower). Breathizen's mullein amount is not published, so ask a doctor about ongoing daily use.
How do you take mullein for lungs?
Mullein has traditionally been taken as a tea, with classical use around 3 to 4 g of herb a day, but clinical research is lacking (Drugs.com, Mullein). No form has been shown to help the lungs. In Breathizen, mullein leaf extract is one of five ingredients in a 4-pump daily spray.
How do you use a sublingual spray?
Most sublingual sprays go under the tongue, following each label. Breathizen's sales page says to spray into the mouth or onto the tongue and does not ask you to hold it. Shake first, use 4 pumps once a day, and go by the directions on your bottle.
Should I double up if I forget a day of Breathizen?
No. Skip the missed dose and take your usual 4 pumps the next morning. Do not double up to make up for it. If you remember the same morning, you can take it then. A daily reminder helps you stay on track.
Can I use Breathizen with my inhaler?
Only with your doctor's OK, and only as an extra step. Use your inhaler exactly as prescribed, then take the spray. Never skip, delay or cut back an inhaler dose because you take Breathizen. Asthma controller medicines need to be taken every day to work (MedlinePlus, Asthma control drugs).
